School History & Mission
Established in 1962, Govt. High School Phyang has served as a cornerstone of secondary education in Phyang village, Leh District, UT of Ladakh. Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the school combines modern digital tools with traditional Ladakhi values.
Our Vision
To empower children from Himalayan mountain communities with world-class secondary education, scientific temperament, environmental responsibility, and strong moral leadership.
Government Governance
Managed directly by the Department of School Education, UT Administration of Ladakh, guided by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Leh and School Management Committee (SMC).
